This talk begins with Isha’s own journey to empowerment and finding a voice. It addresses the importance of creating safe spaces for dialogue about the traumatic impact of racism on personal development and making an ethical commitment to open dialogue about racism in transformational support. It reflects an approach to the trauma of racism and white privilege in the relational process demonstrating the importance of self-care and the possibility of creating new ways of elevating self-esteem and being with each other.
